Welcome to Central Oregon! Since moving here in 1976,
many changes have taken place. Bend has always been a "melting
pot". Oregon is a great state and Bend is in the "Heart" of it
all. People live here because they want to enjoy all the
amenities Central Oregon has to offer: four seasons,
recreational activities, lots of sunshine and great support
facilities including medical, dental, educational.
I've been a Licensed Realtor in Oregon since 1988 and happily
married for 33 years! Faces and places have changed! When we
moved here, Bend was one of the largest thriving lumber mill
and logging communities in the Northwest. There's talk that
Clark Gable pulled on the "Green Chain" in the early days
before "Gone With The Wind" was filmed. That's the foundation
of our town. The integrity of a by-gone era, people caring,
sharing and Bend's beauty and livability. That's why people are
moving here. A constant reminder of more tranquil times are the
smokestacks looming large and tall against the Cascade Range.
They are part of Bend's heritage.
