A 30-year resident of Bend, he has purchased and developed both
commercial and residential properties in this area. For many
years, Jim and his family owned the South Trail Shopping center
on Southwest Highway 97. Prior to that he owned a successful
hardware store in northeast Bend. Jim's early experience with
identifying successful commercial location, negotiating leases
and guiding businesses to profit came to him as a District
Manager for Coast to Coast Hardware Stores in California.
